Heathrow Bonsai Show 2019

Heathrow Bonsai Show started in 2010  and is growing bigger and stronger every year.
The Show was a get together event for bonsai enthusiasts who share their passion of bonsai with others through bonsai shows.
The organisers philosophy is that bonsai shows are one of the best ways to promote bonsai, and a gateway for the general public to the wonderful world of bonsai trees and local bonsai clubs.

A very successful show, plenty of traders and a demo by Kevin Willson.
Also a thank you to the UK Bonsai Association for hosting the UK’s New Talent Competition, won by the talented Miroslav Kolav, who fought off strong competition.

Swindon Winter Image Bonsai Show 2016

Swindon & District Bonsai Club held their very own ‘red carpet‘ event today, with an excellent ‘Winter Image’ bonsai show.  It goes from strength to strength and just when you think it can’t be surpassed, you are pleasantly surprised with outstanding trees, society and individual displays, and in my opinion, some reaching the dizzy heights of international level.

There were some very well deserved winners and just a few familiar faces, with a plethora of exceptional trees. Thanks go to the judging panel, Tony Tickle, Mark and Rita Cooper, Peter Warren, Andy Jordan, Will Baddeley, Steve McKee and John Brocklehurst.

Thanks also go to Paul Bowerbank, Swindon & District Bonsai Club Chairman and his dedicated team for a well organised and attended show. Thanks also go to the traders for their continued support and of course visitors, clubs and societies who made it all possible.
